What can I expect from a treatment?

A Hypnotherapy treatment is generally 1 hour long and is a very relaxing experience. The Hypnotherapist will start by taking a detailed history and clearly recognizing the areas of your life you would like to change. Then in a warm and safe environment, you will be placed into a relaxed state and the positive suggestions will be repeated. A personalized CD of the session may be given depending on the related problem. No person can be given suggestions that they do not believe or want and it is safe for you to come out of the relaxed state at any time you wish. Problems like the cessation of smoking (3 easy sessions) and other chronic problems may need two or three sessions. A recording giving you a lifetime of support is provided after 3 sessions, please talk with your practitioner about follow-up appointments required.

Fertility & Pregnancy Support

At Kundalini House our practitioners have a strong focus on fertility and pregnancy support. Hypnotherapy has been used for centuries for the use of pain relief during childbirth. A safe and effective modality, Hypnotherapy helps to lessen anxiety, increase relaxation and has been shown to decrease the need for analgesics during childbirth. A systemic review of the wide spread claims of efficacy of Hypnotherapy for childbirth, in the British Journal of Anesthesia looked at 5 randomized control trials and 14 non-randomized control trials and found that, compared with controls, fewer patients required analgesia during their childbirth. And that women using Hypnosis rated their pain less severe than the control group.
